ACCIDENT CLOSES SB I-880 CONNECTOR TO HWY 238 IN SAN LEANDRO
At 12:07 a.m., California Highway Patrol first received a report of accident along the off-ramp, CHP officials said. The crash caused the pole to come down, creating sparks. The sparks then started a brush fire on the right hand shoulder of the off-ramp, according to CHP officials. Two adults and two juveniles were inside the vehicle that struck the pole. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time, according to CHP.
