A 20-year old man is dead after a crash early Saturday morning at Hampden Avenue and South Gun Club Road in Arapahoe County. The crash happened just before 3 a.m. A female passenger was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. Northbound Gun Club Road was open after daybreak on Saturday morning, but drivers weren'€™t being allowed to turn onto Hampden due to an investigation taking place at the scene.

Both of the people in the car were ejected. The 22-year-old woman was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition but died around noon.

I've known this young man for a few years - but I was "auntie" and my husband was "unk". Our hearts are with ALL family, friends, and loved ones. Im so sorry for EVERYONES loss. Both will be LOVINGLY Remembered and thought of - always. Prayers in abundance for all affected by this tragedy. And thank you Lord for allowing us to be touched by your angels, regardless of how brief. We continue to Pray for guidance, understanding, and patience. God Bless.
