Motorcylce rider going wrong way dies after crashing into stolen Mercedes

A motorcycle driver heading the wrong way died after crashing into a stolen Mercedes in Lakewood. After heading the wrong way, a motorcylist crashed into an stolen vehicle and died. The crash happened on Kipling, just north of Mississippi, at about 12:50 a.m. Northbound Kipling was closed at Exposition following the crash, but has since been reopened.

Wrong-Way Motorcyclist Killed After Slamming Into Stolen Car

The motorcyclist, identified at Konrad Gula, 26, was killed in the crash. The car involved turned out to be a stolen Mercedes from Denver, and the occupants fled. According to police the occupants of the car were a man and a woman. One of them may have facial injuries. Witnesses told police the couple looked young.
