David Perkins, 51, killed in pedestrian accident on Migeon Ave. in Torrington, Connecticut

A 51-year-old man died Friday night in a pedestrian accident involving a 2007 Honda Accord. David Perkins was found unresponsive on the side of Migeon Avenue at about 6:30 p.m. First responders tried to stabilize Perkins at the crash site and then took him to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The Torrington Police Department Accident Team is investigating the tragic collision.
