Bridgeport police have arrested a man accused of leaving the scene of a hit-and-run that killed a 21-year-old pedestrian on Noble Street on Saturday night. Police have charged Dennis Berrios, 36, of Bridgeport, with evading responsibility and said more charges are possible. He was arrested in connection with the crash that killed Tyron Tate, 21, who was walking in the 600 block of Noble Avenue near Jane Street at 10 p.m. on Saturday. It was the second hit-and-run of the weekend in Bridgeport. Witnesses told police that Tate was walking along the road with several people when he was hit. Tate was transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries, but medical staff later pronounced him dead.
