One killed, another seriously injured in a single-vehicle high-speed crash off of Whitesville Road in Delmar, Delaware

For reasons under investigation, the driver failed to maintain control of the car and allowed it to rotate counterclockwise as it slid off the roadway. After exiting the roadway, the Cadillac struck multiple trees and continued to violently rotate, during which the front right passenger was ejected from the car. The passenger came to rest inside the wooded area near the south edge of the roadway.
