"The driver was pronounced deceased and two passengers with serious injuries were taken to the hospital," Fort Lauderdale Police Detective Tracy Figone said about the 12:41 p.m. crash that happened at the southwest corner of Northwest 13th Street and Northwest 23rd Avenue.
