Family of tourist killed by hit-and-run driver arrive in South Florida looking for answers
The family of a Jamaican tourist who was killed by a hit-and-run driver has arrived to South Florida in hopes of finding the person responsible for his death.
A family made an emotional plea Wednesday to find the driver who killed a father of four in a hit-and-run crash in Oakland Park. Rollin Francis, 35, was visiting from Jamaica earlier this month when he was struck by a car as he tried to cross the 1800 block of Oakland Park Boulevard around 11 p.m. on Aug. 10. He later died at the hospital.
"This was his dream. He always wanted to come here," Francis' sister said.
