Wrong-way crash kills 3 adults, 1 tot on S.R. 50
It is unknown why the driver of the first vehicle was heading in the wrong direction, said FHP Sgt. Kim Montes.
Four people including a 2-year-old girl from Titusville, died in a head-on wrong-way crash Sunday night at around 9 pm on State Road 50 in Orange County. A 32-year-old Orlando man, yet to be publicly identified, was driving a GMC sport utility vehicle the wrong way on SR 50 when he crashed into a Honda Accord driven by 22-year-old Cameron Greene of Cocoa. The Orlando man, Greene, and two passengers in Greene's car died. The passengers are identified as 20-year-old Paige Altman and 2-year-old Kylee Altman, both of Titusville. FHP is investigating the collision, and a toxicology report is being done on the driver of the SUV to see if alcohol or drugs may have been in a factor in the tragic accident.
