Marianna woman dies in crash; toddler has serious injuries
Elizabeth James was eastbound on County 162 in a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix and failed to stop at the intersection of 231, FHP reported. The front of a 2014 Chevy Equinox driven by 25-year-old Bethany Zana Arnold, of Dothan, collided with the left side of the Grand Prix, the FHP said. The Grand Prix came to a rest on the northbound shoulder, while the Equinox rested in the northbound inside left lane, according to the FHP. Arnold was listed with serious injuries and was being treated at Southeast Medical Center, the FHP reported. Elizabeth and Derwin James were not wearing seat belts; Arnold was wearing one, according to FHP.
