Malone man involved in Bay County crash

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 9 p.m. on Nov. 15, at U.S. Highway 98 (AKA Back Beach Road) and State Road 30 (AKA Front Beach Road) in Bay County. At the intersection, an EZ-GO golf cart driven by Kurt Albert Fogier, 54, of Panama City Beach, was southbound in the inside lane of SR 30, while a 2003 Volvo UT driven by Jeffrey Allen Baxter, 56, of Malone, was eastbound in the inside lane of US 98. Fogier made a left turn at a flashing red signal, driving directly into the path of Baxter, who was following the flow of traffic through the intersection, under a flashing yellow light.
