FHP: Pedestrian Killed in Tallahassee I-10 Accident
While the pedestrian was putting gas into the Trailblazer, the tractor drove past with cargo hanging off the right side and "the overhanging roof trusses" hit the back of the Frontier, collided into the pedestrian and then the rear of the Trailblazer, according to investigators.
FHP Investigating Fatal I-10 Accident
An FHP spokesman has identified the victim of a deadly I-10 crash as 26 year old Earnest Lee Thomas of Tallahassee.
SGT Aaron Stephens says there is no decision yet on whether the truck driver who struck the vehicles on the side of the road will face any charges.

A person putting gas into a vehicle parked in the shoulder of I-10 was struck by the overhanging roof of a tractor-trailer and killed. The accident report states the tractor, driven by Timothy Chancy, drove off and left the scene. Police say the truck driver didn't realize he had hit anyone and kept going.
