People throughout the Chagrin Falls School District were stunned Friday to learn of the death of former high school English teacher and athletic director Lenny May in a car accident Thursday.

A tow truck driven by Merlin Anderson, 53, of St. Petersburg was traveling north in the center lane. When the tow truck attempted to change lanes, it collided with the SUV. The Traverse rotated clockwise onto the east shoulder of the road, where two passengers were ejected.
