Barbara Janet Charlebois, 38, killed, and Bridget Mary Kent seriously injured in car wreck on S.R. 54 in Wesley Chapel, Florida

One driver was killed and another was seriously injured in a crash on State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel on Sunday night, authorities said. The Camry was redirected south and came to rest on the outside shoulder of S.R. 54. Barbara Janet Charlebois, 38, of Lutz was driving a 2004 Toyota Camry west on S.R. 54 near Ernest Drive around 8:50 p.m. when she veered onto the right shoulder, the Florida Highway Patrol said. Charlebois over-corrected and traveled into the eastbound lane, where her Toyota collided with a 2014 Buick Verano being driven by Bridget Mary Kent of Ontario, Canada. The Buick spun and stopped in the eastbound lane.
