Fatal motorcycle accident shuts down I-285 lanes
Traffic was backed up for miles as police and fire worked to clear the scene. All lanes reopened just after 2:00 pm Wednesday.

The driver, 40-year-old Jeffery Scribner of Snellville, lost control while changing lanes on I-285, DeKalb police Maj. Stephen Fore said Thursday.
