Authorities say one person has been killed and another injured in a boat crash on Lake Lanier.

The Hall County Fire Services Marine Rescue unit was on the scene and will be assisting the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

According to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, the agency received a call about 9:20 p.m. that a rental boat carrying Young Tae Shim, 34, and So Yang Kim, 29, had run aground and capsized.
