BPD Patrol Car Broadsided, Minor Charged With Aggravated DUI | Citydesk | Boise Weekly

A 17-year-old Boise girl has been charged with aggravated DUI after broadsiding a Boise police patrol vehicle the evening of July 22. According to a police report, law enforcement responded to the crash at the intersection of East Chinden Boulevard and Veterans Memorial Parkway at 10:33 p.m. after the officer in the vehicle was able to radio for help. Witnesses told police that the teenage girl had been traveling north on Veterans Memorial Parkway when she drove through a red light, striking the police vehicle.
