Crash involving Meridian police SUV being investigated

The Ada County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash involving a Meridian police SUV that occurred Tuesday afternoon. The crash happened shortly after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Cherry Lane and Ten Mile Road. According to Meridian police, a woman was driving a Maroon SUV eastbound on Cherry. She was the vehicle's only occupant. The Meridian police SUV, also with just the driver inside, attempted to turn southbound onto Ten Mile. The vehicles collided.
