Logan Thompson, 22, involved in 19-passenger injury accident after Megabus swerves to avoid his car on Interstate 65 in Greenwood, Indiana

Logan Thompson, 22 of Columbus was northbound on I-65 when his car went off the road, allegedly due to innatention while checking his mobile phone. Thompson's car struck the cable barriers in the median, bounced back onto the interstate, and came to a stop with the back end of his car in the right lane. .A Megabus double-decker tour bus carrying 48 passengers swerved to avoid Thompson's car, causing the bus to roll and collide with the median around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning on Interstate 65 in Greenwood, Indiana. The roadway was wet at the time of the accident, and could have contributed to the accident. One person was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, four suffered moderate injuries, and fourteen were treated for minor injuries. 35 passengers were not injured, but were taken to a hospital by city bus as a precaution.
