JACKSON CO., Ind. (WHAS11) '€“ A Lexington, Ky. man was injured in a crash on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 3:30 p.m. on I-65 near the 36 mile marker in Jackson County. ISP'€™s investigation determined that Ledford was unable to maintain control of the motorcycle without the use of the rear tire. ISP said the motorcycle then overturned and ejected Ledford from the vehicle. Indiana State Police'€™s initial investigation by Master Trooper Gary Thalls indicated that a 2006 BMW motorcycle being driven by Kenneth J. Ledford, 58, of Lexington, was traveling northbound on I-65 at the 36 mile marker when the rear tire of the motorcycle suddenly blew. I-65 was briefly shut down while the crash was investigated.
