One killed in Chickasaw County crash
The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office and Nashau Fire and Ambulance Service assissed the Iowa State Patrol at the scene.

One man was killed in a rollover crash in Chickasaw County on Asherton Avenue in Nashua around 9:30 P.M. on Saturday. Matthew Nichols, 27, of Waverly, failed to navigate a curve, and went into a ditch. Authorities say the vehicle rolled twice, and struck a telephone pole. Nichols was ejected from the car and was pronounced deceased at the crash site. Nichols was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to law enforcement authorities.
