Andrew W. Martsolf was walking in the right shoulder of eastbound Interstate 70 just before U.S. 69 Highway around 2:25 p.m., while a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado drove in the right lane of the highway, according to a crash log from the Kansas Highway Patrol. Martsolf walked in front of the Chevrolet as it approached him.
