Teens hospitalized in crash near Ozawkie

Two teens were injured after their vehicle struck a pole early Sunday morning, according to Kansas Highway Patrol. Jonathan Henney, 17, of Valley Falls, was driving eastboard on 126th Road about seven miles northeast of Ozawkie at about 12:47 a.m. Sunday when his 1988 Ford F150 pickup left the road and struck a power pole, according to Kansas Highway Patrol. Henney and passenger Andrew Dake, 17, of Oskaloosa both were transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.
