Sheriff Jeff Easter said the deputy was driving southbound on 135th Street West and crashed with a vehicle heading westbound on 29th.
County deputy killed in collision in south-central Kansas
Sedgwick County Deputy Sidnee Carter died at the scene of the crash that happened about 9:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of two roads near Maize, authorities said.
