Kentucky officer killed in crash; truck driver arrested

Mengedoht was reportedly conducting a traffic stop on Interstate 64 on a truck with four passengers inside when a semitruck crashed into her cruiser.

Driver charged with murder in crash that killed Kentucky officer admitted to taking drugs

Police arrested the driver, 60-year-old Roger Burdette, on charges of murder and DUI. Burdette is an MSD employee.

Court: Man Viewed Porn Just Before Mengedoht Crash

They say former Metropolitan Sewer District worker Roger Burdette was driving his work truck when he used his phone to visit a pornographic website. He crashed into the police cruiser minutes later.
