Teens sent to hospital after Hopkinsville wreck

 State police say two teenage women were taken to the hospital after a single vehicle wreck Friday morning in Hopkinsville. Police responded to the scene, at the 77 mile marker of Interstate 24, at 8:19 a.m.
Amber Russell apparently fell asleep behind the wheel of her car on Interstate 24 and the car drove off into the median, striking a cable barrier. Russell and her 18-year-old passenger, Kiristin Boaz, were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance.
