Crash at intersection of US 45 and State Route 1241 kills one, injures six others

Kentucky State Police say on Sunday around 3:00 p.m. a car traveling west on State Route 1241 failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of US 45 North and hit the passenger side of a car. The force of the crash pushed the cars 60 feet across the intersection into a guardrail. 69-year-old Ronald Peterson of Ledbetter was pronounced dead at the scene.
