A pedestrian walking on the service road in the 2500 block Southeast Evangeline Thruway was struck by two cars Thursday night and killed.
Justin Bradley, 27, of Lafayette, was hit by a northbound 2006 Toyota Corolla, then hit again when he landed in front of a northbound 2000 GMC pickup truck, Lafayette police Cpl. Paul Mouton said.
Bradley died at the scene of the accident, which occurred at around 9:20 p.m.
No one else was injured, and there are no charges pending currently, Mouton said, noting that the investigation continues.
