The woman, whose identity will not be released until her family is notified, was driving a Nissan Altima north in the left southbound lane of I-55 near I-12 around 1 a.m., State Police said. She crashed into a Nissan pick-up that was heading southbound in the same lane, authorities said. The driver of the pick-up, Kaden Marcus Ezell, 23, of Bogue Chitto, Miss., was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries, State Police said. He was wearing a seat belt.

Authorities say James, about 1 a.m. Tuesday, was driving north in a southbound lane when she collided with a pickup truck driven by 23-year-old Kaden Ezell, of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi.
