Man dies in Md. hit and run, police investigate

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. (WUSA9) -- A Prince George’s County man died after being struck by a van Monday evening. Anyone with information about this collision is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422. Police say Roy Lee Dorsey Jr., 39, of District Heights was attempting to cross Pennsylvania Avenue when he was struck by a van. Police say the van may have damage on the front end. On Monday around 6:35, officers arrived to the intersection of Pennsylvania Ave. and Silver Hill Road, where they found Dorsey in the roadway facing critical injuries.
