Pedestrian Dead After Being Struck By A Car InGaithersburg

GAITHERSBURG, Md. (AP) ' Police in Montgomery County say a woman is dead after being struck by a car in Gaithersburg. Monday to the intersection of S. Frederick Avenue and S. Westland Drive for a report of a pedestrian struck. Police say the driver of the car remained on scene and was not injured. Police say it appears Gelaw was walking in the area of a crosswalk when she was struck by the driver of a Toyota Camry. Investigators are working to determine what traffic and pedestrian signals said at the time of the crash.
