1 dead, 2 seriously injured after car hits telephone poll

The vehicle traveled through the pole and then barrel rolled several times coming to final rest on its roof. There were two passengers in the vehicle,Tyler Holland, 17, from Walkersville seated in the front and Jared Spangler, 18, from Reisterstown seated in the back. WALKERSVILLE, Md (WUSA9) -- One teen is dead and two are seriously injured after police say the driver was speeding, lost control of the car and collided into a telephone poll in Walkersville on Sunday afternoon. The vehicle traveled up an embankment sideways passenger side leading when it collided into a telephone/utility pole. The vehicle then traveled over the hill and rotated counterclockwise while traveling in the north direction.
