New Hampshire man killed in Hopkinton crash

A 53-year-old New Hampshire man was killed on Tuesday in a crash on Route 495 in Hopkinton.  At around 6:06 a.m., State Police responded to a two-car crash on Route 495 northbound. Police say a 2012 Jetta Volkswagen Jetta struck the back of a 2000 Volvo truck as it drove in the right travel lane.  The crash trapped the Jetta's driver, identified as Marcel E. Masse, 53, of Lancaster, New Hampshire. Firefighters removed Masse from the car and transported him to Framingham Hospital where was pronounced dead, police said.
