At about 5:30 a.m. May 20, Ottawa County Sheriff's deputies responded to US-31 and Buchanan Street on a report of a two-car crash.
Investigation showed the at fault vehicle, a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, was southbound on US-31 near Buchanan, and told deputies he was going 70-75 mph.
