Wexford County Deadly Crash, Portion of Mackinaw Trail Is Reopened
Michigan State Police say they got the call around 2:15 Thursday afternoon.
A Jeep was going east on East 48 Road in Wexford County when it did not stop at a stop sign.
It struck a Pontiac going south on Mackinaw Trail.
Man, 22, killed in Northern Michigan crash
Ely was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, a 20-year-old Mesick man, was transported to Munson Hospital in Cadillac. He was transferred to Munson Hospital in Traverse City where police said he is in serious condition.
