2 brothers killed in central Minnesota crash

BOWLUS, Minn. (AP) - Two young brothers are dead and their grandmother seriously hurt after a car-pickup crash in central Minnesota. Two boys in the car - 12-year-old Justin Minnerath and his 7-year-old brother, Jonathan Minnerath, both of Little Falls - were killed. The 45-year-old driver of the pickup was taken to a Little Falls hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities say a Ford Taurus passenger car collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen says the crash was reported about 1 p.m.

Visitation, Funeral Set for 2 Brothers Killed in Central Minn. Crash

Last Sunday, 12-year-old Justin Minnerath and his brother, 7-year-old Jonathan Minnerath, died in a car crash in central Minnesota. Justin died at the scene and Jonathan died at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, the sheriff'€™s office said. Family members and friends gathered Sunday for a visitation for two boys from Little Falls who were killed last week. A funeral service for the brothers will take place Monday starting at 10 a.m. at Emblom Brenny Funeral Services. The Morrison County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened at 1:09 p.m. at the intersection of Nature Road and Great River Road, which is east of Bowlus.
