Driver killed in crash near Willmar is ID'd; 8 others hurt

A late-night collision at a rural western Minnesota intersection killed one of the drivers and injured eight other people, authorities said Sunday. The car'€™s driver, Marcus U. Hahn, 55, of Venice, Calif., was killed, the patrol said. The crash involving a car and a minivan occurred shortly before 11 p.m. While authorities have not explained the circumstances leading up to the crash, the car has a stop sign to observe, and the minivan does not. His wife, Maria Vlachou-Hahn, 46, and a child were hospitalized with noncritical injuries, the patrol added.
