Trosclair was walking along Highway 90 near Hilltop Road when she was struck by a driver who did not stop.

Ocean Springs police responded about 8:16 p.m. to the westbound lanes of Bienville Boulevard and Carolyn Road, they said in a news release. Officers and emergency responders tried to save Trosclair but she died at the scene, the release said.
