Ms. Singleton was also taken to UMMC, along with her three passengers; 20-year-old Embrya Brown, a 5-year-old female and a 19-month-old female, all from Flora. All were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

One person died and four are injured after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 49 at Kennebrew Road, near Pocahontas. Casandra Singleton, 38, of Flora, collided with a Ford Pickup that was making a left turn onto Kennebrew Road. The driver of the pickup, 70-year-old Harvey Murray, was transported by air to UMMC, where he died.
