A Head on Collision Kills a Vicksburg Woman

Witnesses tell officers, speed was a factor. No one has been charged at this time. Toxicology reports for both drivers are pending.

Vicksburg Police Chief Walter Armstrong tells us a fatal two vehicle accident happened just after midnight Saturday night. 27-year-old Maurice Hall, of Vicksburg, was driving northbound on Washington Street near Bowmar Avenue when another vehicle driven by 22-year-old Dakota West, of Vicksburg, was traveling southbound on Washington Street.
Chief Armstrong says one of the vehicles crossed the line and caused the head on collision.

26-year-old Krystal Foster, of Vicksburg, was the passenger in the vehicle driven by Hall. Foster died at River Regional Medical Center. West was transported to UMC with serious injuries.

Witnesses tell officers, speed was a factor. No one has been charged at this time. Toxicology reports for both drivers are pending.

The accident is still under investigation.

My sister was taken and now I'm left without her body!!!! She wanted so much in life and had a plan on doing so writhing these next couple tears. Its hard to know that I will never hear her voice or touch her beautiful skin. I do know that God needed her more than we did on earth. Another wonderful person has been ripped from my heart!!!!! I love you forever and ever Krystal!!!!! You gave me the best 26 years ever!!!!!

Many people loved Krystal Foster, she was a caring person that always took care of her grandmother. She was going to college and had great skills in doing hair. We never expected to lose her so soon! But God has a different plan than the one we have for ourselves.

I'm krystal Foster mom yolanda I'm missing my babygirl so so much God knows my pain in hurt its been seven months But it seems like yesterday to me the smiling hugs kisses the tears just runs down my face every day I can't see my life with out her in it she was born November 7 1987 left this earth may 25 2014 the person who done this knows his name he was a drunk driver I'll be so glad when this over I have a plan for all of us who lost our love ones too this thank you'll who were here with us I love you'll for that.

Today is the day that I will remember my beautiful intelligent aunt she has always been the perfect roll model for me and encouraged me to dance and now I'll never see her dance ever again until my time has come. But I will never forget those moments ever in my life and I pray that my grandmother stays safe trying to cope because I know this is hard for her and the rest of my family - Jordan
