The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 50-year-old Shane Hillhouse, of Kennett, was traveling on US Highway 412 at Highway NN, four miles east of Kennett, when he failed to yield to 57-year-old Kevin Nelson, of Holcomb. Nelson was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital.
