The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Jared Young, 20, of Hillsboro was driving a 2019 Ford Mustang north on Hwy. E at Belleville Lane at 9:30 p.m. when he attempted to pass a northbound 2010 Ford Explorer driven by John Schneidewind, 57, of De Soto, on a curve.
