19-year-old woman dies in crash south of Great Falls

The Montana Highway Patrol says the Great Falls woman hit the pothole at about 3:45 a.m. Sunday. She overcorrected and went into a broadside skid. Her vehicle slid into a driveway approach and a rear wheel broke off, causing the vehicle to roll through a hedge and fence, coming to rest in a field. The woman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
