An early morning crash in Lancaster County kills one woman and injures two others.
Sheriff's deputies were called to Saltillo Rd. near 56th St. around 3:30 a.m. Monday. They say 27–year–old Jessica Lyons was ejected when the car hit ice and spun out of control.
She was life–flighted to Bryan West where she was pronounced dead.
Her husband 28–year–old John Lyons and the driver 45–year–old John Norbert suffered non–life threatening injuries.
"Initially deputies thought that it had rolled but there's no damage to the top of the vehicle so it spun out of control, then entered the south ditch without rolling," police said.
Police say none of the three people in the car were wearing their seatbelts.
The group was in the middle of delivering newspapers.
