1 dead, 2 hospitalized after overnight crash on the 215

One man is dead and another man and a boy are hospitalized after a rollover crash late Friday night on a south valley freeway, according to Nevada Highway Patrol. The driver, a 25-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy were taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center where the driver was pronounced dead, Hixson said. Friday to the on-ramp from northbound Interstate 15 to the westbound 215 Beltway, NHP Trooper Loy Hixson said Saturday morning. A 34-year-old man was driving a Scion northbound on the ramp when he traveled off of the roadway and over-steered in an attempt to correct the vehicle, Hixson said. The ramp where the crash occurred and the ramp from southbound I-15 to eastbound 215, where the vehicle came to stop after it rolled down an embankment, were closed for about six hours, Hixson said.

A 34-year-old man died and two others were seriously hurt in a crash Friday night at the Interstate 15 and 215 Beltway interchange. The Clark County coroner identified the man who died as Paul James Donnell.
