Man arrested after fleeing scene of fatal crash in North Las Vegas
At about 6 p.m., a gray Jeep was traveling west on Alexander Road near Clayton Street when it crashed into a white Toyota Camry that was headed southbound, police said. Both vehicles then slid across the roadway, striking a tan Chevy Tahoe.

After the traffic collision, the driver of the Jeep fled the scene on foot. A short time later, officers located the 19-year-old man, identified as John Paul Bryant, in the immediate area. Bryant was taken into police custody and later booked at the Las Vegas City Jail for felony duty to stop at the scene of an accident involving death, felony reckless driving involving death, failure to render aid at the scene of an accident, and driving without a valid license.
