Elderly Man Killed In 4-Vehicle Crash In Mercer County

Police say vehicle of the elderly victim, identified as Walter Guelchar, struck three vehicles as his car went into the opposite lane of travel.

A 87-year-old Ewing man died in a multi-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon in Lawrence just before 4 p.m. on the Federal City Road overpass of I-95. Walter Guelcher was pronounced deceased at the crash site after his car collided with three others. A driver and passenger in the third vehicle were transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton. Their conditions are not currently being reported. The crash is being investigated.
