A 61-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle as he crossed Route 9 in Middle Township on Wednesday evening, officials said. Lee Nelson was hit by a northbound vehicle just before 6:30 p.m. as walked across the road at the intersection with Route 47, Middle Township police said Thursday.
