A woman has been charged in a hit-and-run accident that left a man lying injured along Route 47 Sunday night.

Ryan Carty was walking north on Route 47 when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. He was found injured on the side of the road and was taken to Atlantic City Medical Center for treatment. During the investigation, Beatriz Zacualpa-Morales, 19, turned herself into police. She was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injury and endangering an injured victim.
