Drunken man crashed into taxi, drove wrong way and hit second car, police say

A Dumont man drunkenly crashed into a taxi Wednesday morning then struck another car as he drove the wrong was down a one-way street, police said.
Brandon Baez struck a taxi that was stopped at a traffic light as Baez was driving the wrong way down Newark Street, a one-way street. Baez then allegedly struck another stopped car. No one was injured, but damage was done to all vehicles involved. Baez was arrested after failing field sobriety tests, and was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a Breathalyser test, reckless driving, and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
